Stirrup Steps:  The stirrup steps are made from 1/16" thick x 1/4" wide cold rolled steel.  The mounting holes are sized for a #4-40 machine screw or 1/8" rivet.  The overall width of the steps is 2" as measured between mounting hole centers.  The holes are spaced 1/4" apart vertically.  The total height is 2" with 1-1/2" hanging below the car.

Hopper Car Stirrup Steps These 2-step stirrups are formed from 1/16" thick x 1/4" wide cold rolled steel.  The steps come pre-bent but do require assembly.  They can be assembled with either 3/32" or 1/8"  rivets or with #4-40 machine screws, hardware not provided.  The steps come with two uncoupling lever plates that should be mounted on diagonal corners.  Angle braces are provided for the other corners.  To see how they look on a car take a look at our hopper car page as they are the same ones we provide with our hopper car kit.    Price: $20/set of 4
Brake Wheel Housing Kit  In addition to the above brake wheels we offer a complete deluxe brake wheel kit.  This kit consists of a stamped 19 gauge steel housing with predrilled mounting holes, a prototypical backing plate, laser cut release lever, either a modern or traditional brake wheel, 18" of 5/16" chain and all the hardware for assembly.  Assembly is quick and easy.   For a more prototypical look a D style grab iron can be purchased and spliced into the chain with #4-40 screws for a more prototypical look. Brake Wheels:  These brake wheels are laser cut and formed from 1/16" thick steel.  The outside diameter is 2-1/2" with a  3/16" dia. hole in the depressed center.  The brake wheels come in two different styles, traditional with curved spokes and a modern wheel with straight spokes. Stamped Steel Boxcar Door:  These 6 ft. boxcar doors are stamped from 24 ga steel.  Each door measures 15-1/4" tall  x 9-1/2".  These dimensions can be adjusted slightly by leaving varying amounts of material round the edges.  The doors are stamped with all the cross ribbing just like the real thing for added stiffness.  These doors would look great on almost any boxcar.  These are a 6ft. door.  Additional width doors coming soon.   Price:  $12.50/piece

Stamped Steel Gondola or Boxcar Ends:  These ends are made from 24 ga steel.  Each is 7" x 14-3/4" wide with 1/2" tabs on both sides.  They can be easily overlapped and riveted or welded together to make 13-1/2" tall steel boxcar ends.  These would be very prototypical for a wooden boxcar or reefer with steel ends from the 1930's etc.     Price:  $40/pair or $70/set of 4

Louvered Locomotive Door:  Punched from 24 ga. (0.032") thick steel sheet, these louvered doors are 2-1/4" wide by 8" long, with 6 vents punched at the top.  These would make a prefect addition to many different locomotives as either functional doors or as a fine detail.  Be sure to check out our "Useful Info" section for links to small hinge suppliers.    Price:  $3.50/piece	Chain  These chains are perfectly scaled for 1-1/2" rolling stock.  We carry three scale sizes: 2-1/2" (5/16" link), 2" (1/4" link) and 1-1/2" (3/16" link). All chains are made from copper coated steel wire and cost $1.50/ft. for the 2-1/2" and $1.25/ft. for both 2" and 1-1/2" sizes.   Quantity discounts are available for quantities over 10ft.
Ladder Kits  These ladder kits are designed to construct a 16" long ladder with 7 rungs.  Kit comes with (7) 2-1/4" D grab irons, (4) mounting brackets and (2) 3/8"x3/8"x16" long aluminum angle.  Requires holes to be drilled and does not include hardware. Diesel Engine Snow Plow  This is a modern GE style snow plow.  The blade is constructed entirely of 1/8" steel making it very solid and able to take a beating on the front of a locomotive.  The blade is 16-3/4" wide by 6-1/2" high.  Square cut doors for the MU hoses have been included.  The doors are only held in with two small tabs and can be easily removed and attached using small hinges.  Price:  $75/plow

Track Gauges:  We are pleased to offer precision machined track gauges.  These track gauges are machined from 1/2" aluminum plate with a 7-9/16" gauge for straight track and 7 5/8" gauge for curves.  The gauges can be used with either 1/2" or 7/16" head rail.  Perfect for checking gauge in those trouble spots, building track panels or assembling turnouts.  Each gauge is clearly stamped on the side for easy identification.  Price: $7/piece or 3 for $20
